A Resource for Leading and Managing the Baby Boomers, Generation X, the Millennials, and Generation Z

In today’s generationally diverse workforce, leaders must become skilled in the art of connecting relationally, communicating rationally, and leading directionally in order to effectively manage/ lead the Baby Boomers, Generation X, the Millennials, and Generation Z under one organization’s roof.

It is becoming increasingly vital for today’s leaders to develop multigenerational leadership skills. The focus of the research for this book was to seek an understanding of the multiple layers of social complexity involved in a generationally diverse workforce. The aim was to explore work-value differences among the four generations- drawing out each generation’s strengths, limitations, and implications for practice.

The goal was to provide leaders with a multigenerational management practice model that can be used to generate better understandings of how to effectively lead/ manage four generations under one organization’s roof while ensuring that organizations remain sustainable and continue to flourish into the future.
